The streets of Downtown Abbotsford are filled with many ways to spend your day. The shops, amazing restaurants, and everything in between make for a great way to support local businesses and experience what this vibrant community has to offer!
With Mother's Day fast approaching, we wanted to share a list of some of our favourite spots to visit here in Downtown Abbotsford, so that you can plan the perfect day for the Mom(s) in your life!
If you begin your day in the early/late morning, we highly suggest your first stop to be Oldhand Coffee for a dose of caffeine to fuel your day! Some of our favourites are a Chai Tea Latte with almond milk, a Cortado, or just a classic Latte. You may as well also pick up one (or two) of their delicious pastry options while you're there - to tie you over until lunch! Some personal favourites are the Ham & Cheddar Croissant, Chocolate Chip Cookie, and the Raspberry Oat Cups.

After you get your caffeine fix, a stroll down the rest of Pauline Street is necessary! Pop two doors down from Oldhand Coffee to surprise your mom with a fresh bouquet of flowers from the lovely Confetti Floral. Pick from the variety of pre-made bouquets, or have your Mom choose her favourite individual blooms for a more specialized option!
Then, turn yourself around, walk back down past Oldhand Coffee and voila! You'll find yourself walking right through our doors. With our selection of locally made, unique gifts, you'll be able to pick something lovely for your Mom in no time.
Choose from a selection of goods from our in-house brands, Minimoc, Sprig West, and Borealis Manufactory. Some of our favourites from each brand are our Keychain Tassels (perfect addition to Mom's busy key ring!) our "Full Hands Full Heart" Wall Hang (which is a statement that can ring true for so many mothers), and our Phone Rise (which is not only great as an addition to an office desk set-up, but is equally useful in the kitchen when Mom is making a recipe from her smartphone/tablet.)
By this time you'll be hungry for lunch, so you'll want to make your way down to Montrose Avenue where you'll find the perfect Mother's Day spot... treat your mom to a High Tea at TraceyCakes Bakery Cafe! TraceyCakes offers a beautiful High Tea service.

Once you've enjoyed your tea and finger sandwiches, you'll want to walk off your meal. Head on over to Montvue Avenue, where you'll see the cute building that is the Loft Salon, Spa & Beauty Bar. Time to treat you and Mom to a mani/pedi after a busy day of walking + shopping! The Loft Salon, Spa & Beauty Bar offers everything from an Express Manicure/Pedicure to a Luxurious 1-Hour Manicure/Pedicure! For a few more dollars you can even add on a Hot Stone treatment or a Salt Scrub.
